  • Cape Kidnappers International Golf Course

    Hawkes Bay is fortunate to have five excellent golf courses.

    Hastings and Hawkes Bay golf clubs are in Hastings and Napier and Maraenui in Napier. All courses welcome visitors, but it is best to call and book a tee time first.

    The jewel in the crown is the world ranked Cape Kidnappers course.A real challenge for all golfers, and a memorable day taking in the fantastic views and superb clubhouse.

    For a more gental approach there is the Par 2 golf (putting) on the Marine Parade in Napier

  • Cape Kidnappers Gannet Coloney

    A visit to the only mainland colony of gannets in New Zealand can be a very rewarding experience. There are beach tours by tractor and trailer, or if you prefer , overland tours in the comfort of a four wheel drive vehicle.

    As you travel to the colony you will be amazed at the sheer cliffs and rugged nature of the coastline. Over 20,000 gannets nest at the colony and the best times to visit are between October and early May.

    There are also many attractions on your way to Cape Kidnappers, including Art and Craft centres, food and wine establishments and a British Car museum.

  • Art Deco Tours

    Pick up your Rent A Dent vehicle at Napier airport and proceed to Napier city for a tour of our world famous Art deco. Regular walking tours are conducted from the Napier Art Deco shop or you can obtain a guide for your own self drive tour.

    Each year, on the third weekend in February we celebrate with a weekend of wining, dining and street parades, with participants all dressed Art deco style.

    Napier was rebuilt in this unique style following the devastating 1931 earthquake.

  • Hawkes Bay Wine Tours

    Hawkes Bay has upward of thirty five winerys, many of them featuring tastings and restuarants. Many are located in the Bridge Pa area including names such as Ngatarawa, Trinity Hill and Sileni. There is also the Te Mata area were you will find Black Barn and Craggy Range.

    Early in February of each year the Harvest Hawkes Bay Wine Festival is held. This exiting event is a must for wine buffs and includes tastings, incredible food and big concerts.

  • Hawkes Bay Aquarium

    Known as the National Aquarium of New Zealand and situated on Napiers Marine Parade,this is a must visit for locals and tourists alike.

    Featuring Crocodiles, Kiwis and many species of sea creatures and exotic fish, it is fun for adults and children alike.
